1. I haven laughed so much in a day for a longgg time.
With good food, good laugh and good company, what more could i ask for? More meet ups with you peeps!

2. I have to say this, once and for all -
I AINT NO AH LIAN!
Neither my looks nor the way i speak shows im ah lian. I only look fierce when i dont smile, but i cant help tt.

3. MAMA MIA THE MOVIE is a MUST watch!
The familiar tunes reminds me of days in deyiband, the good and the bad times.

4. Its amazing to see that dog owners are still so considerate these days!

5. Most of the boys are serving the nation now.
I went for wai's POP with zhu last tues. Saw few familiar faces - zai (who was unfortunately sick), qiusong (my long lost "biao di" who also happens to be in the same co. as wai), yazid (pri sch friend who happens to be wai's PS), ismail trumpet (deyi band senior).

6. TIAN TIAN HUO GUO is NOT NICE!
I'll never go back there again!

7. COMEX FAIR was a time to catch up with old friends, and also a time to make new friends.
I haven seen Wenli, Qianhui, Ben since the last IT fair. Post COMEX fair was totally a waste of time coz sales was bad = less commission. What more when the in-charge(s) were not organised and clear in their instructions, and we felt that we're being cheated.

8. Mummy is going Sabah tommorrow for holiday.
I've actually lost count on the number of times she went holiday this year. I want to go BKK!

9. My ulcer is annoying me, totally!

10. Its time for bed because the time reads 1am now and i've got a class tmr at 12nn.

OUR NARROWEST ESCAPE IN TIOMAN!

All else was good except the snorkeling experience we had, thats why we called it the NARROWEST escape.

So now, let me fill you in about my trip.

Day 1

We set off from Singapore at 6.30am to Tanjong Gemok Jetty. And guess who we saw? Shachin, Josh and their 3 german friends on board. (where Shachin was supposed to join us for the trip and backed out at the very last minute)

The bus ride took almost 5hrs and i spent most of my time... SLEEPING. (and running to the toilet in between breaks)

Board the ferry to Tioman Island, to Paya Beach Resort.

Upon reaching Tioman, we manage to capture the magnificent view from the jetty.

& the room itself.

Checked out our room, dumped our bags in a corner and hurried to the eating place. Our lunch consists of Sambal Prawns, Claypot Toufu, Crispy Fried Chicken and 2 plates of Yangzhou Fried Rice which brings our total bill to RM130.

After lunch, we continued with our all-time favourite activity. Yes, you got it right! MAHJONGGGG!

Thereafter, we immersed ourselves in spa therapy. Scott, Ban and myself chose the Herbal Body Scrub and Wrap. We sure know how to enjoy life hur!

Then, it was time for dinner. And yes, we couldn't resist pampering ourselves to a sumptuos meal. Lobster was the highlight. Scott definitely got 'high' having it.

After dinner, we did some shopping at the Duty-free shop where we decided to buy the same singlet to be worn out at sea the next day for snorkeling! UNITY!!!!

Continued mahjong-ing before heading to the beach bar to chill out (with pool and beer).

& its almost BED TIME! Ting complained that the guys were forming a 'symphonic orchestra' with their loud snorings and my constant mumuring.

Day 2

Buffet breakfast consists of toast, scrambled eggs, omelette, hotdogs, and tea. Afterwhich, ting went for her head and shoulder + foot massage while the rest of us went to buy some snacks and drinks and back to our room to watch the Olympics.

Getting all geared up for the snorkeling trip! My 2nd experience.

Ting and myself were the first two to get down the boat into the sea. Not long after, the rest joined us. The wave current was definitely too strong and the in-charge were not aware (or rather they were but didnt warn us). It started to drag us further and further away from the boat. Trying our hardest to swim closer to the boat, we got dragged even further by the wave. The boatman totally did not realise we were facing undercurrents pushing us towards the open sea. And when they had finally realised, we were too faraway they wouldnt be able to hear us if we'd screamed for help! The gang of 7 were also with us and one of them shouted for help.

Ting swam with all her might, pulling me along to join the rest and finally up on the boat. They said i took traumatised. Everyone was asking if i'm alright. And together with the gang of 7, we began relating our stories to each other, our lucky escapes from the clutches of the South China Sea.

So now this explains our NARROWEST escape huh!

(Seriously, i wouldnt know what to do if i was alone. Yes, i pardon you for all the swearings.)

Quickly went back to the room to shower. Took a stroll on the beach, wanting to catch a glimpse of the sunset and we really had a lot of fun snapping away.

Thereafter, it was dinner time! We wanted to have chilli crab but it was sold out. Thus we settled for Sweet and Sour Fish, Cabbage with Seafood Soup and Fried Sotong with the total bill of RM130.

Our last dinner on Pulau Tioman was filled with laughter as we tried to finish the Sex on the Beach with the "Guessing Number" game because it was seriously awful.

Mahjong-ed again before heading to the beach bar for some beer and satay. (i was coughing badly i could only have tea!) The Mummy and The Tomb of The Dragon Emperor was showing on the big screen.

Back to the room and this time round, i was suffering from the agony of the snorings by the guys. Oh well oh well.

Day 3

We woke up at 5.30am in hope of catching a glimpse of the sun rise. We laid on the sundeck, admiring the moon, the stars, the ever changing clouds and the rays of sunlight coming through the clouds but, we didnt manage to see the sun rise.

And so, we headed for our last breakfast on the island.

We went to shop for souvenirs and back to our room to continue packing.

Now, we bid goodbye to Tioman Island.

The short get-away couldnt be possible with all of them:

Met up with gfs for dinner at PS Sakae Teppanyaki on Thursday. Had rochor tau huay, my first =) And they got me a nice white bag from Taiwan.

Went NYP with xiaowen for lunch at mac today. Got our graduation attire and i finally pass my BTT! Songs of the sea was SPLENDID! Dinner-ed at Sushi Tei, and then its home sweet home. A pity 'What Happens in Vegas' was sold out! =(

Anyway, this week's been short since Thursday was Labour Day = Off Day!
Spent my night with the 3 Js at Cafe Iguana and Billy Bombers. Pink Guava Margarita, Quesadillas, Fried Calarmari, Spicy Lettuce Wrap, Banana Split, and American Brownie for dinner. Sounds yummy, doesnt it?

Finally made up my mind and done with the Uni application. I hope i made a right decision this time.

Glory of one yesterday,

DEYI MILITARY BAND
attaining the following awards:

At that moment, the Deyi supporters all stood up to cheer and we the ex-members, made our way quickly to the field. Many were crying tears of joy. It was that moment which words cannot explain. We finally got it! We finally beat TK! We get to bring home the 3 awards!

I went to congratulate Mr Lee Lik Teck. A pity i dont know anyone in band now, makes me feel really old. Caught up with some of my friends of my batch, my seniors and my juniors.

Congratulations to Deyi Band, Mrs Chee and the ex-member committee for creating history on 12 April 2008.

Yesterday, rosa and i went Dhoby Ghaut to lunch with vina. We always seem to have endless conversation over tv dramas and people around us. It could only last an hour because vina has to get back to work.

Rosa and i decided to head down to sentosa but settled for 'Run, fat boy, run' at Vivo GV. We went photo snapping at Toy 'R' Us and went to play the '$1 coin machine'. Got a winne-the-pooh keychain, and we gave it to xinning when we saw her at the corridor when she bought lunch back.

The movie lasted 1 1/2h. Its quite a good movie, motivational and funny but rosa thinks it was a little draggy. She left to meet her parents while i head home.

Oh yes, i got a job! Thanks to Vina!
My interview is tommorrow, 2.30pm.

Next, we went out for dinner at Cavana. I left after dinner to JiaLe's 21st birthday at Downtown East. The rest went to take the Singapore Flyers which they had loads of fun!

Met pad and her family at Pasir Ris and we went Hei Sushi for dinner. Then we went to meet geksan, sichuan and kok. Coincidentally, we bump into everyone outside. Pad, kok, sichuan, geksan and myself head off to Aloha Loyang for Sivan's 21st. After which, we rushed a cab back to downtown east just in time for JiaLe's.

Dropped by at Coasta Sands for Joan's 21st. Got a ride from cd to town and took a train back to cityhall. I was just in time to get swensens' icecream cake for geokie!

We stayed up the night keeping ourselves occupied with card games, charade and forfeits. There was so much fun thou everyone was tired. The sad thing was we didnt manage to catch the sunrise because it was so cloudy. Muq,colin and i went 7-11 to get breakfast and caught a short nap thereafter. Woke up at the singapore version of high school musical before checking out.

I've been dying to exercise, like seriously. I cant even remember when's the last time i went cycling or even doing any form of exercise. Luckily, dor was free! So off we went to Bishan Park. We could have cycled longer if not for the heavy downpour. 45 mins was it, just in time to the nearest bus stop when it started raining. Took a bus to amk, then a train to J8 for lunch at PizzaHut. So much for exercising huh!

Finally a Singaporean movie that deals with the banal and not bout gangsterism or Jack Neo's slapstick, with dearie. I was tearing away, touched and amazed by Wong Li-Lin's courage and way of finding her true love.

It was a great meetup with xueyan, junxiong and qq yesterday after work. The guys came over to plaza sing to meet me and we walked to marina square to meet xy. Had dinner at Genki Sushi, and off to esplanade to chill.

YES, EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!

This had been the long awaited day but somehow when it came, it felt just like any other day. Nevertheless, it was a sigh of relief.

Looking back, these 3 years had been the time of my life!

BM0507 was simply a GREAT/WONDEFUL/HUMOUROUS/FANTASTIC bunch of people.

Thinking back of those happy & silly times we had is ever heart-warming.

Recall-ed those times when nana, wen and myself always wait for each other at shopping arcade, trying to be the latest because we want to take revenge for waiting the previous days; when the 3 of us were called POWERPUFF GIRLS & even CHARLIE'S ANGELS; when i did stupid things like suddenly raising my hand during CHARLIE's lesson or run and jump to touch the banner at the corridor and sat on the floor laughing too hard when my feet hurts and wen told CHARLIE i was crying; when i ran off half-way during CHARLIE's lesson to go mediacorp to support ALICIA in StarIdol; when xueyan and i went for the immersion trip and where we knew jx and gang; when nana, wen and i skipped lessons to watch movies or go shopping; when we would help wen to look out for K and call her immediately to tell her his whereabouts; when we challenge puzzle fighter and shar always says "dengg yii sia" (wait); when hsien yew and i are always at loggerheads and bicker every day; when hsien yew and edmund always sit behind me and start their 'daily concert'; when i fell off the stairs and sprained my ankle; and too many to mention.

But the worse if anyone were to ask would be a confrontation on the last day of school.
I didnt cry because i felt i was in the wrong, i cried because i felt i was wronged.

Well, its all over.
I take it as a test of friendship, a lesson learnt.
At the end of the day, i grow and learn to cherish the important people in my life.

But still, i'm grateful to all for who i am today.

It was BSU X'mas gift exchange which only the 6 of us turned up.
Pean drove us (minus meiqi) to have dinner at 'somewhere in sembawang'.
